SEQ LEVEL 2 IN TEACHING SWIMMING
Become a Qualified Swimming Teacher – £699
Take the fastest route to poolside with the SEQ Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification — the single, streamlined pathway recognised by Swim England.
This qualification gives you the knowledge, confidence and practical skills to independently plan, deliver and evaluate high-quality, inclusive swimming lessons. There is no requirement to hold a Level 1 qualification, making this a simpler, quicker and more cost-effective way to qualify as a swimming teacher.
The course combines guided online learning, interactive webinars and hands-on practical poolside sessions, where you will take responsibility for delivering at least six real 30-minute swimming lessons. You’ll develop your teaching style while learning how to manage classes, support stroke development, adapt lessons for swimmers of different abilities and create engaging, inclusive learning environments.
Throughout the course, your tutor will support and assess you through a mixture of written tasks and practical teaching. Once all assessment criteria are successfully met, your certificate will be issued within 6–8 weeks, opening the door to employment opportunities as a qualified swimming teacher.
If you’re 16 or older and ready to turn your passion for swimming into a rewarding career, this qualification offers the most direct route to teaching swimming — with fewer barriers and no unnecessary steps.
